Carlson SEEDS Internship
The Carlson SEEDS internship program, founded by Greg and Nancy Carlson ’82, is designed to engage students in experiential learning and discovery that fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation for environmental stewardship and sustainable agriculture.
SEEDS interns will have access to 50 acres of land located outside of Northfield that will serve as a tool and a laboratory to accomplish the following:
- obtain a deeper understanding and appreciation for environmental stewardship and sustainable agriculture;
- foster experiential learning, discovery, innovation and entrepreneurship;
- create and strengthen local community;
- produce healthy food.
Interns will participate actively as part of the larger SEEDS project and will also have the opportunity to develop their own project, or implement other student’s projects, that address one or more of the key components.
